Bouncy, sweet and charmingly hopeful; ‘Of Your Love’ is the latest single from Scottish Jazz Rising Star, Marianne McGregor. Released at the beginning of June 2020, this single offers an amusé oreille to the singers long awaited debut album ‘Good Morning Warning’, a project that Marianne hopes brings as much warmth and light to the listener as it did her.

‘Of your Love’ is lighthearted in its melody, hooking the listener from the first phrase. Where the melody keeps listeners upbeat and moving, the lyrics evoke nostalgic feelings of love, comfort and understanding, leaving the listener in a memory somewhere between truth and hope.

‘Of Your Love’ is the perfect introduction to the upcoming ‘Good Morning Warning’ and to Marianne McGregor herself. In a feat of ingenuity, Marianne has made jazz original, sad themes seem hopeful and a voice incomparable to anything but chocolate, whiskey and velvet.
