‘Good Morning Warning’ is the debut album from jazz vocalist Marianne McGregor, winner of the Scottish Jazz Rising Star Award, 2019. Released in July 2020, this is a much anticipated introduction to Marianne’s unmistakable voice, charmingly honest songwriting and authentic yet playful improvisation.

Recorded in collaboration with some of Glasgow’s finest session musicians, the album is a blend of jazz and pop, featuring thought-provoking lyrics and punchy vocal delivery. With a freshness that is distinctly her own Marianne explores themes of joy, heartbreak, personal growth and the trials and tribulations of young love.

In a feat of ingenuity, Marianne has made jazz original, sad themes seem hopeful and a voice incomparable to anything but chocolate, whiskey and velvet.
